The East Coast Cardinals was founded by Sinclair "Scoops" Boyd III, in 2013.  The team was originally known as the East Coast Pirates.  We started our season with a 35 and older mens baseball league called, "A League Of Our Own" in April of 2013 out of New Jersey.  It was a good league, we had fun, and met a lot of good people throughout the years.

Finally it was time to move the team to somethng bigger.  In 2019, we joined a 35 and over mens league in Bergen County under a new manager and name change, (Angels).  The new and current league is called, "Play At The Plate New Jersey".  A great league, and best move we made.  We had a good season, but it was time to bring back the East Coast team with it's original and current manager, "Scoops".  In 2020 with a new team name, the East Coast Cardinals are back in business.
